SSR Mining Inc. is seeking an Ore Control Geologist to support open pit operations in Nevada. The role focuses on ore control calculations, blast movement monitoring, drone surveys, and field mapping to ensure accurate mine production reporting.

The position requires CAD usage, MineSight experience, and a bachelor’s degree in Geologic Engineering or Geology. FAA drone certification is expected or obtainable within the first year of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement blast hole/ore control programs aligned with mine models
• Create blast movement ore control plans with operations and engineers
• Develop geotechnical monitoring programs and evaluate resource models
• Produce pit mapping and data analyses for mine modeling and geotechnical evaluation
• Monitor groundwater management and blast monitoring relative to geology
• Assess data quality of geological and assay information
• Support production reconciliation studies and monthly/annual reporting
