Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mine Engineering, Geologic Engineering or Civil Engineering.
• Valid driver's license.
• 1-5 years of responsible mine engineering experience and/or Summer Internship experience.
• Open-pit mining operations experience.
• Basic knowledge of mine planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop short-term mine plans and pit designs.
• Coordinate mine surveying activities.
• Support drill and blast planning and geotechnical monitoring.
• Provide technical guidance to Mine Department and other departments.
• Present mine plans to various groups.
• Promote RNMC's Zero Harm culture and work safely.
• Assist with equipment requirements.
• Contribute to Life of Mine plan.
