Job summary

Florida Canyon Mining, Inc. is seeking a Mine Engineer to design, plan, schedule, and budget Mine Operations. You will work with geologists and metallurgical engineers to determine best mining practices and set goals for the Mine Operations department.

Responsibilities include collecting data, producing production reports, and developing practical mining plans aligned with geology and equipment. You will design mine plans, coordinate with operations, and optimize costs while maintaining safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mine Engineering or related field is required.
• Demonstrated safety leadership qualities are required.
• Strong computer and data analysis skills are expected.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Collect, document, and assess mine data to improve efficiency.
• Produce daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
• Develop practical mining plans based on geology and equipment availability.
• Create mine designs and schedule ore and waste extraction.
• Coordinate with the operations supervisor to implement plans.
• Design waste dumps and leach pads to support plans.
• Recommend actions to reduce production problems and costs.
