Job summary

Optimized Process Designs (OPD) in Baytown, TX is seeking a Dirt Operator II to operate heavy mining and construction equipment on an industrial site. You will follow safety guidelines, perform routine maintenance, and help meet production goals while working in a demanding outdoor environment.

The role requires 6+ months of equipment operation, MSHA Part 48 training, and willingness to work up to 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 6+ months experience operating heavy equipment in construction/mining.
• MSHA Part 48 trained.
• Ability to work all shifts up to 12 hours/day, 7 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to plant safety and environmental guidelines.
• Safely operate heavy mobile equipment of various sizes.
• Perform minor service and maintenance on equipment.
• Identify and document potential hazards per policy.
• Work as a team to meet production, waste and quality goals.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment.
