Job summary

Jobtailor in Minnesota is seeking an experienced Order Management Specialist to monitor orders, track shipments, and coordinate with sales, purchasing, and logistics to ensure product availability and on-time delivery.

You will maintain accurate records, expedite urgent orders, and troubleshoot bottlenecks while collaborating with teams to deliver exceptional customer service. Proficiency with Epicor Profit 21 and HubSpot is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service or order management experience, ideally in industrial automation, manufacturing or distribution.
• Intermediate ERP-system experience (Epicor Profit 21 / P21 preferred).
• HubSpot experience is also a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional, customer-focused attitude with a problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track the status of customer orders, shipments, and deliveries.
• Communicate with suppliers, customers, and sales teams to confirm schedules and resolve delays.
• Coordinate with purchasing, inside sales, and logistics to ensure timely product availability.
• Maintain accurate records of order status, delivery timelines, and customer inventory levels.
• Expedite urgent orders and prioritize based on customer needs or back-orders.
• Troubleshoot supply-chain bottlenecks or disruptions in collaboration with purchasing.
• Partner with other sales personnel and departments to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Prepare regular open-order reports and assist with quarterly customer-review meetings.
• Perform additional duties as needed to ensure a positive customer experience.
