Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. in Virginia is hosting open interviews for Armed Security Officer, Licensed Security Officer and Event Officers.

Interview times are 9:00am–3:00pm on Wednesday, September 9 and Thursday, September 10 at 12350 Jefferson Ave, Newport News, VA 23620. Pay ranges from $17.00 (unarmed) to $20.00 (armed) per hour, with weekly pay and a benefits package including health, dental and vision.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and pass lifetime background check
• Must pass drug test
• Minimum 1 year of security experience
• Must be available to work weekends
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities at an assigned client site to ensure security and safety.
• Protect client property and personnel; respond to incidents and emergencies.
• Follow client instructions and company policies while on duty.

Who?

All Security Positions are Full Time and Part Time - All SHIFTS AVAILABLE (weekends included)

Must have excellent Customer Service skills

Security positions require you pass our drug screen and background check

Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard

Job Requirements of the Security Officer include but are not limited to:

Security Officers/Security Guards observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.

Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.

Additional physical requirements of the security officer/guard may include, frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
