Job summary

Securitas USA is hosting an in-person FLEX Customer Service Security Officer hiring event in Seattle. Walk-ins are welcome at 509 Olive Way, Suite 505, Seattle, WA 98101, every Wednesday 9am–12pm. Wage is $28.90/hour with flexible weekly shifts and opportunities to work 40+ hours per week.

On-site duties include patrolling, de‑escalation, and client interaction across Seattle or Bellevue areas. Successful candidates undergo pre‑employment screening and background checks.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required, or ability to obtain GED within 6 months.
• Minimum 1+ year security experience and 1+ year customer service/hospitality experience.
• Must pass pre-employment screening including drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain composure in urgent or high‑pressure situations with authorities and clients.
• Resolve conflicts and de‑escalate as needed.
• Secure entrances / exits and conduct patrols on sites.
• Interact with client employees and guests regularly.
• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity.
• Preserve evidence or scene of incidents for investigations.

FLEX Customer Service Security Officer – In Person Hiring Event – WALK-INS WELCOME!!

Hiring Event Location: 509 Olive Way, Suite 505, Seattle, WA 98101

Time: Every Wednesday from 9am-12pm

Job Site Location: Seattle, WA OR Bellevue/Redmond, WA

Wage: $28.90/Hour

Available Shifts: FLEX - (weekly schedule will fluctuate) eligible to work 40+ hpw but no guaranteed minimum

IMPORTANT: To maintain a quality hiring experience, our team can only accommodate a maximum of 12-15 interviews per day. We appreciate the understanding of candidates who may need to return on another day if capacity has been reached.

What Your Day May Look Like

• Maintain composure during urgent or high‑pressure situations with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public.
• Conflict resolution and de‑escalation.
• Secure entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside and outside the client’s premises in various weather conditions.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
• Set up barriers / signage and provide direction or information to others.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Position Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required, OR ability to complete GED program within 6 months.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Must have 1+ years security & 1+ years customer service/hospitality experience.
• Conflict resolution and de‑escalation skills a plus!
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout a shift.Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in Securitas’ pre‑employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
