Job summary

Securitas, Inc. is conducting an in-person FLEX Customer Service Security Officer hiring event in Seattle, WA, with walk-ins welcome. The role requires patrolling, guarding entrances, and ensuring safety across Seattle or Bellevue/Redmond sites.

Wage is $28.90/hour with flexible weekly shifts and a 40+ hour workload potential. Applicants should bring a resume and business casual attire, and must complete pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED; or ability to complete GED within 6 months.
• 1+ years security experience and 1+ years in customer service/hospitality.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain composure during urgent or high-pressure situations with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public.
• Conduct patrols inside and outside the client’s premises in various weather conditions.
• Secure entrances and exits and report safety issues.
• De-escalate conflicts and resolve issues as they arise.
• Protect evidence or the scene of incidents during accidents or investigations.
• Set up barriers or signage and provide directions or information to others.
• Carry out tasks of similar scope and duties as required for the site.

FLEX Customer Service Security Officer –In Person Hiring Event – WALK-INS WELCOME!!

Hiring Event Location:509 Olive Way, Suite 505, Seattle, WA 98101

Time: Every Wednesday from 9am-12pm

Job Site Location: Seattle, WA OR Bellevue/Redmond, WA

Wage: $28.90/Hour

Available Shifts: FLEX - (weekly schedule will fluctuate) eligible to work 40+ hpw but no guaranteed minimum

IMPORTANT: To maintain a quality hiring experience, our team can only accommodate a maximum of 12-15 interviews per day. We appreciate the understanding of candidates who may need to return on another day if capacity has been reached.

What Your Day May Look Like

• Maintain composure during urgent or high-pressure situations with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.

• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
• Set up barriers / signage and provide direction or information to others.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Position Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required, OR ability to complete GED program within 6 months.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Must have 1+ years security & 1+ years customer service/hospitality experience.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus!
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout a shift.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in Securitas' pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
