Job summary

Securitas USA in Seattle is hosting a FLEX Customer Service Security Officer in-person hiring event. Walk-ins are welcome. Please bring an updated resume and dress in business casual attire. Location: 509 Olive Way, Seattle, WA 98101, 10am–12pm.

The role focuses on patrolling, controlling access, de-escalation, and reporting safety concerns. You will work with client staff and guests under security protocols, with training paths available for career growth into management.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required, OR ability to complete GED within 6 months.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• 1+ years of experience in customer service and 1+ years of security experience required.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus!
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout a shift.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant during shift.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in pre-employment screening (drug screen and background check).

Wage: $28.90/Hour

What Your Day May Look Like

• Maintain composure during urgent or high-pressure situations with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Secure entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside and outside the client's premises in various weather conditions.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
• Set up barriers / signage and provide direction or information to others.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
