Securitas USA is seeking an experienced Hospitality Security Officer for a full-time role at a landmark location in Downtown Seattle. The position pays $28.90 per hour and features a Sunday–Thursday schedule from 10:00 PM to 6:45 AM, with on-site duties focusing on protecting people, property, and information.

Candidates should have at least a high school diploma (or GED), strong customer service and security experience, and solid computer/tech skills.

Our team hosts thousands of visitors and private events annually at one of Downtown Seattle's most iconic landmarks. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to maintain professional at all times.

What Your Day May Look Like

• Maintain a secure environment that protects employees, customers, and visitors from harm.
• Respond effectively to emergencies and security incidents to minimize risk and damage.
• Uphold company policies, safety regulations, and legal compliance standards.
• Protect sensitive information and intellectual property from unauthorized access.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct regular patrols of premises including buildings, parking lots, & entry points to identify potential security risks.
• Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• 1+ years of customer service and 1+ years of security experience required.
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
