Herr Foods Inc. is hosting open interviews for 2nd and 3rd shift forklift operators at the North East, MD warehouse. Join the Open Interview Day on November 12th, 12:00pm–5:00pm at the Visitor's Center in Nottingham, PA to discuss opportunities for 2nd and 3rd shift roles.

Starting pay is $18.09/hr plus shift differential, with full-time benefits and a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork. Shifts include 2nd: Mon–Fri 3:30pm–1am and 3rd: Sun–Thu 9pm–6am.

Competenze

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior forklift or warehouse experience preferred.
• Must read, write, understand, and speak English.

Join us for an Open Interview Day at the Herr Foods, Inc. Visitor's Center in Nottingham, PA on November 12th from 12:00pm-5:00pm to discuss our new 2nd and 3rd shift Forklift Operators at our North East, MD warehouse

SHIFTS: 2nd Shift: Monday to Friday, 3:30pm-1am; 3rd Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 9pm-6am

PAY: Starting at $18.09/hr depending on experience PLUS SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL

Key Responsibilities

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

• Driving a forklift, loading trailers, picking orders to palletize, stacking boxes, wrapping pallets, and working with direct ship programs.
• Position forklifts, lifting platforms, or other materials and transport load into the designated area.
• Loads or unloads stacks of materials on pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
• Weighs materials or products and record weight on tags, labels, or production schedules.
• Perform safety inspections on forklifts, document the inspection, and submit the inspection report to the supervisor.
• Ensure that manufacturing data is accurately entered and tracked in the ERP system, including production orders, materials, and finished goods.
• Update and maintain ERP records to reflect real‑time data, including production status, material usage, and equipment maintenance.
• Enter production and manufacturing data into the ERP system, including raw material consumption, machine usage, labor hours, and quality control data.
• Track inventory levels in real‑time and coordinate with the necessary teams to ensure timely material replenishment.
• Other ERP responsibilities and other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU NEED TO GET STARTED:

• Must complete a background and pre‑employment drug screen. As well as a preplacement screening which tests the ability to perform the physical requirements of the position.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess a stable work history with good references.
• Prior forklift or warehouse experience is preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English.
• Regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; extreme cold and extreme heat and occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places, and fumes or airborne particles.
