In 1954, the Blood Bank of Delmarva was established as a private, not-for-profit agency to collect, test, and distribute blood products. Today, it is part of the New York Blood Center and serves as a key provider of blood services in the community. As of 2019, it employs approximately 175 staff members committed to providing safe and adequate blood supplies.

No medical experience needed! We train individuals who are welcoming and committed to excellent customer service to donors.

Starting Pay Rate: $17.75/hr

+$1.50/hr differential on Weekends

+$1.00/hr differential on Mobile Blood Drives

Responsibilities

The Blood Bank of Delmarva (BBD) in Salisbury, MD, offers training for both experienced phlebotomists and newcomers interested in healthcare, to join our Salisbury Donor Center & Mobile Blood Drive Team in a hybrid role.

The Hybrid Blood Collection Technicians work a varied schedule at the Salisbury Donor Center and mobile blood drives, with schedules provided 2 weeks in advance. We train welcoming individuals committed to providing excellent customer service to donors. BBD supports work-life balance and seeks team members interested in healthcare roles.

***Shift Schedule (Hybrid between Donor Center & Mobile Blood Drives): Morning, Evening, and Weekend shifts are required.***

***Schedule released 2 weeks in advance***
