Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, AL is seeking an experienced CVOR Scrub Tech to join our high-performing cardiac OR team. Start ASAP; shift is Days 6:30a–7p with call.

BLS certification required; 2+ years of recent CVOR scrub experience; must scrub all CV cases (CABG, AVR, MVR, and more). Scrub and assist for all cardiovascular procedures, ensure sterile technique and maintain the surgical field integrity, and anticipate surgeon needs to support efficient case flow.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent CVOR scrub experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to scrub all CV cases (CABG, AVR, MVR, and more).

Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist for all cardiovascular procedures.
• Ensure sterile technique and maintain the sterile field integrity.
• Anticipate surgeon needs to support efficient case flow.
• Collaborate with the cardiac surgical team for optimal outcomes.
• Maintain and prepare instruments and sterile supplies.
