Job summary

PURIS Corp is seeking a General Labor-Tail Man - Open Cut to support the Open Cut crew in underground water and sewer projects in Houston. The role involves excavation, pipe installation, site cleanup, and material handling to ensure safety and efficiency on site.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED (preferred) and prior experience in construction or outdoor labor. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather is required, with travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with excavation, pipe laying, backfilling, grading and related construction tasks.
• Load, unload, move and stage tools, equipment, and materials as directed.
• Support with job site setup and cleanup before, during and after construction activities.
• Identify and report safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
