Qualifications

• 10+ years in financial services policy or strategy.
• Legal background with CFPB knowledge.
• Experience engaging regulators, policymakers, and industry bodies.
• Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks for large banks.
• Ability to translate regulation into strategic implications.
• Executive presence for external forums and messaging.
• Cross-functional leadership across Legal, Risk, Compliance, Tech, and Business.
• Open Banking and data access regulatory knowledge.
• Sound judgement and discretion for leadership.
• Collaborative culture leader with strong interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior representative of JPMorgan Chase in external industry forums, trade associations, regulatory working groups, and financial infrastructure bodies.
• Own the strategic interpretation of regulatory policy and industry developments for Open Banking.
• Translate regulatory signals into actionable strategic guidance for senior management.
• Partner with Advocacy, Governance Relations, and Communications to maintain a credible external position.
• Advise leadership on policy-driven risks, opportunities, and strategic trade-offs.
• Oversee policy positions, consultation responses, and industry submissions.
• Represent JPMorgan Chase in high-stakes discussions with regulators and industry leaders.
• Create the vision, priorities, and operating model for industry engagement in Open Banking.
• Foster accountability, engagement, and inclusion within the team.
