Job Skills / Requirements

United Protective Services is looking for a full-time Security Officer Rover with flexible availability. Ideal candidates can work any shift with a changing schedule. Special Response Officers earn higher pay than regular Officers and must be available to work a variable schedule from week to week. They work at different client sites to cover call-offs, vacations, and open shifts.

Job Duties

  • Respond immediately to open shift coverage when dispatched.
  • Engage in conflict resolution on-site.
  • Assist clients with assigned duties.
  • Maintain daily activity logs according to post orders.
  • Prepare incident reports for unique incidents.
  • Observe and report suspicious activity per post orders.
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained and accounted for before, during, and after shifts.
  • Stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
