Job summary

Optivolt is seeking a creative storyteller to shape and share our solar innovation. You’ll craft compelling content, design sales and product assets, and grow our social presence.

You’ll also help define our visual identity across digital and physical experiences while expanding our website with engaging storytelling. In this role you’ll capture photos and video, produce interviews, and help plan events and product launches, working closely with leadership to translate ideas into polished

Responsibilities

What you'll do

• Create content worth sharing. Turn product breakthroughs, customer deployments, engineering milestones, and company announcements into compelling stories and content.

• Design exceptional materials. Develop presentations, sales collateral, product one-pagers, case studies, graphics, and other visual assets.

• Build our social presence. Create and publish engaging content across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and other relevant platforms.

• Bring our brand to life. Help shape our visual identity and creative direction across digital and physical experiences.

• Expand our website. Develop website content, landing pages, and product storytelling that clearly communicate our technology.

• Capture what we're building. Produce photography, video, interviews, and behind-the-scenes content featuring our team, products, and customers.

• Make our events stand out. Help plan and execute conferences, trade shows, product launches, customer events, and company gatherings.

• Work directly with leadership. Collaborate with the CEO, engineering, and sales teams to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling materials.

What we're looking for

• You have exceptional creative taste. A strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality design, content, storytelling, or creative work.

• You know how to make things. Hands-on experience creating visual, written, or photo/video content.

• You can communicate complex ideas simply. Strong storytelling instincts and an ability to make technical subjects accessible.

• You take ideas through execution. Ability to independently turn a concept into a polished deliverable.

• You care about the details. High standards for design, writing, and presentation.

• You move quickly. Comfort working across multiple projects in a fast-moving environment.

• You take ownership. A proactive, resourceful approach to solving problems and getting work into the world.

Preferred skills

• Brand design, graphic design, and presentation design.

• Content creation, copywriting, and editorial storytelling.

• Social media strategy, content production, and audience growth.

• Photography, videography, and video editing.

• Website design and development using Figma, Webflow, Framer, or similar tools.

• Event production, conferences, trade shows, and product launches.

• Public relations, media relations, and executive communications.

• Experience with hardware, energy, climate tech, or other technical industries.

Additional requirements

• Willingness to work extended hours as needed to support critical milestones

Pay and benefits

Compensation will depend on the position, level, and experience, and will include a generous pre-IPO equity package.
