Job description

At Opascope , we are looking for a creative and skilled full-time SEO Manager with a track record of successful SEO campaigns and a people management orientation to work remotely fromthe US or on siteat our offices in San Juan, Puerto Rico .

In this role you will help us execute SEO strategies, which involve hands-on optimization tasks as well as leading a team of SEO professionals.

What your day looks like :

  • Create, execute, and manage comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic.
  • Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and website audits to identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are implemented in content creation and website updates.
  • Optimize on-page elements including meta tags, headings, URL structures, and internal linking.
  • Oversee and execute technical SEO tasks such as site speed optimization, mobile optimization, and crawl error resolution.
  • Develop and execute strategies to build offsite authority and enhance the website’s reputation and visibility in search engines.
  • Handle multiple client accounts simultaneously, ensuring each receives high-quality and timely SEO services.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients to report progress, results, and adjustments to strategies.
  • Have client-facing interactions, providing expert advice and building strong client relationships.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine and improve SEO strategies.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry developments.

You are a good match if you have :

  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in SEO
  • Prior experience working in an agency setting and managing multiple client accounts.
  • Strong understanding of SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and other SEO applications.
  • Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Shopify).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable with client-facing interactions and account management.
  • Preferred experience with Asana or other project management tools.
