Job summary

NovaCare Rehabilitation in Leonardtown, MD seeks a Physical Therapist for our outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine, and aquatic programs. The role is full-time (32-40 hours/week) with a mentorship program and a gradually increasing caseload; clinicians typically see 10-12 patients daily with 1:1 hour evaluations and 45-minute treatments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• Current State PT license or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat, direct, and document treatment for patients.
• Complete and maintain all corporate and clinical services required training and maintain compliance with state/local/federal regulations.
• Maintain open and respectful communication with colleagues, physicians, patients, family members and third-party payors.
• Attend/participate in center meetings as directed by the center manager.

Hour evals 1:1 with 45-minute treatment times.
