We are hiring a Regular Full-Time OP Nurse Coordinator I (RN) to support the Monroeville Medical Oncology/Infusion office in PA. This role offers a $6,000 sign-on bonus and a Daylight schedule, Monday through Friday, managing daily nursing activities with a team caring for oncology patients.

The Professional Nurse Coordinator, a Registered Nurse, is a key member of the care team responsible for comprehensive patient care, utilizing independent judgment, and maintaining communication with patients, families, physicians, and community resources to promote outpatient health. The role reflects a commitment to community and nursing professionalism.

Responsibilities:
  • Accountability for professional development, quality practice, and patient care improvement.
  • Adaptability to change and leadership in clinical and administrative activities.
  • Formulation of patient care goals involving holistic, patient-centered planning and coordination with physicians.
  • Assisting physicians with assessment, evaluation, and education of patients.
  • Providing holistic care, ensuring follow-up, and acting as a primary resource for patient caseload.
  • Facilitating external services, developing internal relationships, and supporting quality improvement initiatives.
  • Supporting regulatory preparations, patient advocacy, and effective communication among care teams.
  • Demonstrating clinical judgment, critical thinking, and physical stamina required for patient care activities.
  • Teaching patients and families, mentoring new staff, and coordinating staff training.
  • Minimum of 3 years nursing experience; BSN preferred; oncology experience is a plus.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
  • Current RN licensure in practicing state or multistate license via NLC.
  • CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
