Job description

OOH Classifieds Today — New Opportunity — Land Lease Representative

Real Estate, Operations, Creative and Administrative

Supports the company in all duties related to functions and activities necessary to secure profitability, maintain and grow the company’s real estate portfolio of leased and owned properties. The Land Lease Representative is responsible for finding sites for new leases/billboard sign locations and maintaining existing leases while working with state and local agencies for zoning purposes. It will require in-office time at our Roswell office and travel throughout New Mexico.

Essential Job Functions and Tasks: These essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Identify new lease sites and negotiate leases
  • Negotiate renewal leases for existing sites
  • Read and interpret ordinances and state regulations
  • Apply for permits at the local and state level
  • Attend zoning board or city council meetings as needed

Required Education and Experience:

High school diploma (or equivalent) is required plus one to three years of outdoor advertising or real estate experience; including high-level administrative duties and account management/reporting. A bachelor’s degree in real estate, Business, Business Administration, or Marketing is preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Intermediate knowledge and skill of:

  • Microsoft Windows environment
  • Internet browsers
  • Outlook
  • Google Earth

Must possess great attention to detail, strong organization skills, and strong written/verbal communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to:

  • Handle multiple projects at once
  • Meet tight deadlines under pressure
  • Manage heavy inbox workload efficiently
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Follow instructions
  • Travel, with overnight stays, throughout New Mexico
