Job summary

ASM Global Stadium Management, LLC in Oswego is seeking a part-time Maintenance Supervisor responsible for the maintenance and physical well-being of the ONT Field and associated facilities. You will supervise technicians and laborers, manage daily maintenance tasks, and ensure the proper operation of systems during events.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in HVAC and facility maintenance, along with strong communication and management skills. Forklift certification is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Three or more years as a Maintenance Mechanic or at least one year at supervisory level.
• Significant exposure to HVAC, facility, and equipment maintenance.
• Forklift certified and valid California Driver’s License.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for day-to-day maintenance and physical well-being of the ONT Field, including utilities, HVAC, landscaping, and repair.
• Manage hiring, training, performance appraisal, reward, discipline, and problem resolution for employees.
• Assign work, supervise technicians and laborers on daily maintenance and special event requirements.
• Assist with training and evaluation of maintenance staff.
• Establish and maintain tool and repair parts inventory.
• Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance, upgrades, and site readiness for events.
• Ensure proper operation of HVAC systems, electrical distribution, lighting, and audio/video systems during events.
• Install customer‑ordered electrical, water, and air to booths as directed.
• Install temporary cabling, anchors, and “flying” items such as audio equipment and banners, ensuring safe installation and final inspection by Assistant General Manager.
• Attend staff training and safety meetings.
• Operate equipment including forklifts, power sweepers, scrubbers, boom lifts, electric carts, and hand tools.
• Recommend supplies and materials to the Maintenance Manager.
• Maintain daily work records and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Three or more years as a Maintenance Mechanic in a multi‑use facility or construction company, or at least one year at supervisory level.
• Significant exposure to HVAC, facility, and equipment maintenance.
• Experience in life/safety and fire control systems, building automation systems (e.g., Johnson Metasys Software, Lithonia Lighting Software).
• Forklift certified and valid California Driver’s License.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain knowledge of technical advancements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to train others on equipment operation.
• Physical endurance: standing, walking, bending, lifting 25 lbs, operating in hazardous environments, flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must pass background check.
