Job summary

Corporate Chaplains of America seeks a mission-driven Workplace Chaplain to provide confidential employee care, spiritual support, pastoral care, and crisis response in assigned workplaces. The role emphasizes relational ministry outside traditional church walls and serves employees and their families with emotional support, encouragement, and compassionate presence.

Ideal candidates bring servant leadership, 5–7 years of secular workplace experience, and a strong Christian faith.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of full-time secular workplace experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in biblical studies or related ministry field.
• Strong Christian faith and servant leadership.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in sensitive situations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and online platforms.

Responsibilities

• Promote a missionary mindset by building caring relationships with assigned employees and workplace leaders.
• Provide regular onsite workplace chaplain care and relationship-based ministry within assigned businesses.
• Provide confidential emotional and spiritual support to employees and their family members.
• Offer prayer, encouragement, practical care, and compassionate presence when welcomed.
• Respond to crises, hospitalizations, grief situations, and family emergencies.
• Build and maintain strong two-way communication and trust with employees, company leadership, and CCA leadership.
• Follow the CCA Team Member Handbook and organizational training materials.
• Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, humility, and servant leadership in all interactions.
• Maintain accurate communication and timely follow-up with employees and workplace contacts.
• Display a positive team-player attitude with fellow chaplains, managers, and senior leadership.
• Comply with requests and direction from senior CCA leadership.
