Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources seeks a Wind Technician II to join our team in Ozona, TX. In this role, you will ensure the optimal performance of wind farm site operations, focusing on equipment maintenance and diagnostics.

Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting, maintaining electrical and mechanical components, and collaborating on safety and operational improvements. Ideal candidates will have at least 1.5 years of experience in a technical field and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years of experience in a technical field, or completion of a technical certificate/degree program.
• Ability to climb a wind turbine up to 300 feet.
• Valid Driver's License (NON CDL).

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on wind turbines and associated equipment.
• Execute safety management system procedures and maintain compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance of wind turbine components.
