Job summary

Xylem seeks a Water Treatment Field Service Technician to install, service and maintain water purification equipment at customer sites around Orlando, FL. You will use a company service vehicle and receive equipment-specific training; prior technical/mechanical/plumbing experience is encouraged and encouraged to apply.

Typically a day shift with overtime opportunities and an on-call rotation, with occasional afternoons or weekends. Join a global leader transforming water technology.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• 5–7 years technical experience including industrial or commercial process water.
• Basic controls ability (PLC).
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including smart device use.
• Ability to work in a high customer facing position.
• Ability to identify and remedy potential safety concerns.
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, MVR, and DOT physical.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and maintain water purification equipment at customer sites.
• Utilize company service vehicle and equipment-specific training.
• Participate in an on-call rotation with occasional afternoons/weekends.
• Ensure safety and compliance during field operations.
