Job summary

The State of Washington's Rainier School in Buckley is seeking a Warehouse Operator 2 to join the warehousing team. You will receive, verify, store, and distribute products and supplies, maintain organized spaces, and use inventory systems to issue and track items for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with inventory control and warehousing methods.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect deliveries; verify condition and accuracy.
• Maintain organized warehouse spaces and stock levels.
• Pick and prepare orders for distribution to units and departments.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory systems.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory counts.
• Coordinate facility-wide distribution and vendor communications.
• Assist staff and customers with product availability and order status.
• Process receiving documentation and support timely payments.
• Ensure safe, efficient receiving, storage, and distribution.
