Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a Vice President of CMC Development Technical Strategy to align scientific insights with cross-functional plans across platforms and programs. You will lead the CMC-D Leadership Team and guide strategy on processes, analytics, manufacturing and quality.

A PhD with 20+ years in biotech/pharma and broad experience across development and tech transfer is required. This onsite leadership role emphasizes collaboration and strategic impact.

Qualifications

• PhD in chemical, biochemical, or pharmaceutical sciences.
• 20+ years of biotech/pharma industry experience across process development, manufacturing, analytical, quality and lifecycle stages.
• Strong technical judgment and decision-making for scalable development strategies.
• High-Value: leadership in biologics or mRNA modalities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership within the CMC-D Leadership Team, synthesize process, analytical, manufacturing, and quality inputs into strategic recommendations, and guide decision-making on technology, platform, and capability development.
• Collaborate with portfolio and functional leaders to align technical efforts with corporate goals, and mentor senior scientists and engineers to foster scientific excellence.
