Job summary

Applied Intuition is seeking a Software Integration Engineer to serve as the technical presence at a major automotive customer's development site. You'll integrate and validate our E/E platform software on test benches and development vehicles, and support deliveries through to acceptance.

The role blends hands-on integration with customer engagement; ideal for engineers who work independently on site, who communicate clearly with customers and distributed internal teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in embedded or automotive software integration, validation or development.
• Experience with body, ADAS and infotainment domains.
• Hands-on debugging on real hardware and test benches.
• Knowledge of Linux, QNX or Android Automotive.
• Experience with CI/CD and release processes on large software projects.
• Strong written communication and on-site collaboration.
• Willingness to be based at a customer site and travel as needed.
• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform bench and vehicle integration on site, including software flashing, board bring-up, power mode testing, and debugging CAN/CAN-FD, SOME/IP and Automotive Ethernet.
• Triage findings: reproduce issue, isolate source, document logs and analyses.
• Own defects through to resolution and communicate status to customer.
• Support milestone deliveries on site through smoke testing and validation.
• Lead technical working sessions with customer domain engineers across software, hardware and validation.
• Document bench configurations and integration steps for knowledge transfer.
