Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Network/Systems Engineer to support the Expeditionary Communications Technology Integration Center at Warner Robins AFB, GA. This is an onsite position requiring active TS/SCI clearance and DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification.

Responsibilities include gathering requirements, designing network and system interfaces, installing hardware and software, and coordinating standards and procedures across engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Clearance required: Active TS/SCI.
• Current DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification (e.g., Sec+CE, SSCP, CND, CCNA Security).
• Experience with DoW deployed communications and DoW NIPR/SIPR/JWICS networks.
• Knowledge of VLANs, VPNs, Juniper/Cisco, VMware, and cloud concepts.

Responsibilities

• Gathers information on capabilities of products and competitors; derives measurable requirements.
• Translates strategies into network and system requirement specs with other engineering teams.
• Designs interfaces; coordinates standards, practices, and procedures for network/system development.
• Installs new hardware, systems, and software for networks; develops verification procedures.
• Monitors performance and conducts tuning; supports testing and customer acceptance.
