Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the safe movement of trains by adhering to operating rules/practices.
• Oversee on-train employees in service delivery and ensure adherence to service standards.
• Communicate clearly with passengers, crew members, and others involved in train movements.
• Secure movement orders and ensure understanding by operating crew; carry out service requests.
• Inspect equipment, read bulletins, and receive/transmit information by radio/telephone.
• Assist and instruct train crews to couple/uncouple cars and perform minor repairs as needed.
