Job summary

Hertz Kahului is seeking a Tire and Lube Technician (Part Time) onsite at 101 Airport Rd, Kahului, HI 96732. No prior experience required; entry level candidates are welcome.

You will service vehicles, operate lifts and tire equipment, and perform routine maintenance with supervision. Compensation includes $19.50 per hour plus a median monthly incentive around $279, plus a $3,000 sign‑on bonus paid in two installments.

• Entry-level position with no required experience.
• Must be able to perform vehicle repairs with oversight.
• Ability to use shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and scan tools.

Educational Background:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Professional Experience:

• Entry level position with no required experience
• Preferred prior experience with automotive repair (personal or professional)

Knowledge:

• Must be able to perform vehicle repairs with oversight
• Ability to use shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and scan tools

Additional Notes:

• Must have tools to perform necessary repairs
• Minimum tools needed for the job.
  • 3/8” and ½” impact wrench
  • Sockets wrench - metric and standard - preferably long and short lengths.
