Job summary

CATHEXIS is seeking an entry-level Tier 1 Help Desk Specialist to join our federal customer’s support team in Huntsville, AL. You will deliver frontline IT support for end users and handle tickets across multiple channels in a mission-critical environment.

The role requires a Top Secret clearance, 0–4 years of related experience, and the ability to work onsite five days a week. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and federal holidays, with a focus on quality customer service.

Qualifications

• 0–4 years of experience in Call Center, Customer Service, and/or Help Desk environments.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience or technical certifications (a plus).
• Ability to learn and adapt to new job skills, processes, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT support to all customers.
• Receive customer IT queries by multiple methods (phone, self-service, etc.).
• Triage and troubleshoot tickets submitted; provide first-call resolution when possible.
• Remotely access the end-user’s desktop to provide support.
• Maintain ticket status and communicate progress to customers until resolution.
