Job summary

Voltage is looking for a hands-on Test Engineer in Timberlake, NC, to support testing, commissioning, and validation of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and microgrid solutions. The role requires 4-6 years of relevant experience, strong electrical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work on-site. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and familiarity with testing equipment. This position is 100% onsite and offers a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• 4-6+ years of experience in system testing, commissioning, or field service.
• Ability to work independently in field environments.
• Familiarity with basic test equipment and electrical diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute system-level testing of BESS and microgrid systems.
• Support system commissioning, startup, and on-site validation activities.
• Build and configure test setups, including wiring and instrumentation.
