Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a Telemetry Monitoring Technician to monitor patients on telemetry and Safety View devices at UCHealth Admin in Aurora, CO. This full-time, on-site role features 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm and a 72-hour pay period.

No prior telemetry experience is required, though it is preferred; a high school diploma or GED is required, with a basic UCHealth competency test if not. The role emphasizes rapid reporting, documentation in EMR, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED, or UCHealth competency test in lieu.
• Telemetry experience preferred.
• EKG training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs surveillance of multiple patients and recognizes abnormal findings.
• Maintains telemetry records, rhythm strips and charting in EMR.
• Greets patients, answers calls, assists health care team with patient visits.
• Performs clerical tasks as needed.
• Requires critical thinking and ability to work with minimal supervision.
