Job summary

The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining secure information systems in compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies, RMF requirements, and industry standards. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 10+ years of Systems Security Engineering or related experience.
• IAT Level II certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months.
• Experience with DoD information systems and RMF/NIST frameworks.
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux systems.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure system architectures and controls.
• Support system security engineering across the lifecycle.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation.
• Apply and validate security configurations and DISA STIGs.
• Monitor for security events and assist incident response.
• Support RMF, ATO, and continuous monitoring activities.
• Develop SSPs, POA&Ms, SARs, and related artifacts.
• Collaborate with ISSOs and engineers to implement controls.
• Ensure compliance with DoD/NIST/cybersecurity requirements.
• Participate in security assessments, audits, risk management.
