Job summary

Insight is seeking an Associate Engineer for our Fort Worth, TX office. You will perform installation, modification, repair, testing and servicing on systems and communications equipment, including hardware, software configuration, voice, video and data cabling, and networks, with on-site support for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3–4 years related experience and/or training.
• Experience with LANs, WANs, PCs, messaging and server software.
• Ability to automate tasks using basic scripting.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware and peripheral repairs and identify efficient resolutions.
• Install and test system hardware at customer sites.
• Complete documentation for service calls to ensure accurate billing and returns.
• Identify hardware problems and resolve them cost-effectively.
