Job summary

ITC Federal, LLC is seeking a motivated Systems Administrator to join our team in New London, CT, onsite at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.

The role focuses on provisioning, installing, configuring, and maintaining enterprise systems hardware, software, and related infrastructure in a mixed Windows and Linux environment. Candidates must obtain a Public Trust clearance and have experience with Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 tools.

Qualifications

• Active Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain.
• Proficiency with Windows Server and Linux distributions.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft portfolio, including MS Forms, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
• Strong hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting skills.
• Scripting experience using platforms such as PowerShell.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPN configurations.

Responsibilities

• Provision, install, configure, operate, and maintain enterprise systems hardware, software, and related infrastructure, ensuring system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values and security standards.
• Perform operating system administration across Windows and Red Hat Linux environments.
• Install, configure, and patch server operating systems.
• Create and administer Microsoft 365 accounts, including Active Directory and user access management.
• Implement security patches and respond to identified vulnerabilities.
• Develop and maintain system images tailored to specific user groups.
