Job summary

Agiliti is seeking an Onsite Surgical Equipment Repair Specialist to support a fixed location in Nebraska. The role includes inspecting, testing, disassembling and repairing surgical instruments, and maintaining detailed records of all activities.

The position requires troubleshooting expertise, the ability to travel as needed, and strong communication with leadership to coordinate ongoing maintenance programs and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Experience with medical equipment in hospital or clinical settings.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test general surgery instrumentation.
• Disassemble malfunctioning equipment and repair or replace parts.
• Keep maintenance/repair records up to date.
• Perform preventive maintenance on instruments (cleaning, lubrication, adjustments).
• Coordinate maintenance program developments using company methods.
• Facilitate equipment pickup, delivery, quotations, repair status, and delivery of completed repairs.
• Work with leadership on periodic performance reviews.
