Akkodis is seeking a Supplier Development Quality Engineer for a 12-month contract in Atlanta, GA 30313. 100% onsite with a $45–$47 hourly W-2 pay range; relocation at own expense is acceptable if quick.

Requires a BS in engineering and 3–6 years of related experience, including at least one year in supplier quality engineering. The role involves driving supplier quality improvements, developing supplier qualifications, and supporting engineering with component specs and test protocols.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering field and 3–6 years of related work experience.
• At least 1 year of supplier quality engineering experience.
• Engineering degree required; mechanical preferred but any engineering discipline acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Drive improvement and corrective action in supplier quality of components from outside suppliers.
• Provide technical support in supplier selection and in establishing acceptance criteria for materials.
• Monitor supplier performance to drive corrective actions, manufacturing yields, and field failure reduction.
• Generate and maintain inspection procedures and train inspectors accordingly.
• Assist in developing component specifications and test protocols for qualification testing.
• Communicate issues to suppliers and provide input to design engineering on component technology.
