Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC in Rock Hill, SC seeks a Project Engineering intern for summer 2027. You will gain hands-on experience in the nuclear power industry and contribute to AP300 and AP1000 projects, reporting to the APx Project Engineering Manager.

Qualifications

• Candidate pursues a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering and has completed sophomore year.
• Interest in the nuclear power industry and nuclear systems is required.
• Prior internship or project experience in engineering is preferred.
• Familiarity with nuclear power plant design and operations is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Help develop engineering solutions for the AP300 and AP1000 projects.
• Support the project engineering team in compiling technical design information and preparing reports.
• Work with several engineering groups to ensure delivery of engineering commitments.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to discussions on technical challenges and solutions.
• Help develop licensing strategies and help fulfill licensing requirements.
• Conduct analysis to support project decision-making.
• Help prepare presentations and documentation for all partners.
