Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC seeks an Electrical CAD Technician (Substation Group) in Fort Worth to prepare, update, and revise 2D electrical drawings and 3D models. You will work from engineering markups, reference CAD files, and manufacturer cut sheets provided by engineers, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

The role focuses on drafting, coordinating with engineers, and maintaining discipline-specific standards for project startup and delivery.

Qualifications

• Proficient in CAD drafting and drawing production.
• Experience with 2D drawings and 3D models in a structured workflow.
• Familiarity with engineering redlines and markups.

Responsibilities

• Revise and create non-routine drawings, layouts, and details from sketches and notes.
• Develop 3D parts and equipment models in Inventor from cut sheets or reference files.
• Modify electrical layouts, schematics, and wiring drawings from markups and reference packages.
• Set up discipline-specific drawings, sheet sets, borders, and templates at project startup.
• Adhere to company and client drafting standards and layering conventions.
• Check work for technical accuracy before submitting to the design originator.
