Job summary
Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Storage Systems Engineer to design and maintain distributed storage software from an onsite office in Colorado. The role requires US citizenship; visa sponsorship is not available.
You will build high-availability storage solutions and coordinate across storage, OS, networking, and hardware layers, while enabling automation and containerized deployments. Applicants should have a BS/MS in CS or related field with 4–6+ years of relevant storage or systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS or related field.
- 4–6+ years of relevant systems or storage experience.
- Proven delivery of distributed systems or storage platforms.
- Cross-domain expertise across storage, OS, networking and hardware.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain distributed storage system software.
- Develop high-availability clustering solutions.
- Integrate storage, networking and OS layers.
- Debug complex issues across software, OS, networking and hardware.
- Develop automation and configuration management tooling.
- Integrate APIs and management interfaces.
- Support containerized and virtualized deployments.
- Assist support in root-cause analysis and fixes.
