Job summary

Froedtert Health in Milwaukee seeks a Sterile Processing/Central Service Technician to work on-site at Froedtert Hospital. You will collaborate with Sterile Processing Leaders to assess education needs and support ongoing staff training in line with AAMI standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma, at least 3 years as a technician, and 5 years in healthcare-related roles; CRCST or CSPDT preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities within a large regional health network.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of technician experience.
• Minimum 5 years healthcare experience in hospital accounting, patient accounting, reimbursement methodologies, or related areas is preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Techniques in Central Service or OR Technology course preferred.
• CRCST or CSPDT licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sterile Processing Leaders to assess training needs.
• Plan and implement staff orientation and ongoing education.
• Apply AAMI standards to processing functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
