Job summary

The Boeing Company in Berkeley, MO is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (Associate, Experienced or Senior) to join the Air Dominance SRE team. This role provides hands-on ownership for GitLab, Jira, Confluence, PostgreSQL, and related tooling to improve reliability in mission-critical developer platforms.

Responsibilities include incident response, automation via IaC and Ansible, changes planning, and metrics-driven improvements. Travel is 5% and relocation may be offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Ability to obtain US Citizenship for security clearance.
• 2+ years of software development or troubleshooting software.
• 2+ years of experience with Git-based workflows.
• 2+ years of experience in cloud computing (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud).

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain GitLab, Jira, Confluence, PostgreSQL and related tooling infrastructure.
• Support GitLab runner registration, health checks, and capacity reporting.
• Administer software development tools and integrate Jira, GitLab, Artifactory, Confluence, SonarQube.
• Serve as technical owner for platform reliability, availability, and performance.
• Develop IaC, Ansible, and automation for provisioning and scaling.
