Critical Solutions is seeking an SRE Automation Analyst to support a federal customer in Norfolk, VA. The role requires a Secret clearance and on-site work with a salary range of $87,000–$112,000.

The candidate will design, implement, and maintain automation using PowerShell, Python, Power Automate, UiPath, REST APIs, and CI/CD tools, ensuring cybersecurity and compliance. Expect collaboration with multiple teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen and possess an active DoD Secret Security Clearance or higher.
• Must possess an IAT Level II-compliant certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE).
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data/Business Analytics, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in automation, process improvement, systems analysis, scripting, IT operations, or related technical role.
• Strong knowledge of PowerShell and/or Python with workflow automation concepts; familiarity with Power Automate, UiPath beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Identify automation opportunities by analyzing business and technical processes.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into automation use cases and plans.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain automation using PowerShell, Python, Power Automate, UiPath, REST APIs.
• Integrate automation with enterprise systems, data sources, and APIs using secure authentication.
• Support CI/CD practices using Ansible, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Git, or similar tools.
• Leverage AI/LLM capabilities for automation with proper human review and security controls.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot, and implement improvements for reliability and adoption.
• Develop metrics, runbooks, and documentation; coordinate with cybersecurity and operations teams.
