RCM Healthcare Services is seeking a Special Education Teacher for an onsite school-based opportunity at Desert Oasis Elementary School in Surprise, Arizona. You will provide specialized instruction and manage IEPs to support students with disabilities in a collaborative school setting.

The role emphasizes data-driven instruction, compliance with IEP requirements, and close collaboration with families and district staff to promote students’ academic and social-emotional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Arizona Special Education Teaching Certificate with endorsement.
• Cross-Categorical Special Education endorsement or other Arizona certification.
• Knowledge of IEP procedures and laws.
• Experience with data collection and progress monitoring.
• Strong communication and collaboration with families and teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction aligned with students’ IEP goals and Arizona Academic Standards.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs with the IEP team.
• Conduct ongoing assessments and collect data to monitor student progress.
• Implement accommodations and modifications based on individual student needs.
• Create an inclusive classroom environment that promotes engagement and independence.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, families, and district staff.
• Supervise paraprofessionals and instructional assistants as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate documentation including progress reports and IEP records.
• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school activities.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and goals.
