Job summary
Collins Aerospace is seeking an exceptionally motivated Software Engineer for the Aguadilla, PR site to contribute to Mission Systems within the Resilient Connectivity Products (RCP) team. This onsite role requires collaboration with a high-performance software team to translate requirements into robust software artifacts.
You will work on designing, implementing, and validating software in a cross-functional environment, with emphasis on tests, interfaces, and certification standards.
Qualifications
- Requires STEM degree and 2 years of experience or an advanced degree.
- Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
- Experience with embedded development using object-oriented design.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a software team to translate System Requirements into Software Requirements and UML/SysML models for a large-scale program.
- Provide direct support to stakeholders by addressing technical questions and troubleshooting issues.
- Partner across domains to maintain and enhance software design and code aligned with customer requirements and certification standards.
- Produce high-quality software builds within an integrated test environment with rigorous testing and validation.
