Job summary

Trillium Engineering in Hood River, OR, is seeking a Software Engineer to develop, modify, and optimize general computer applications and specialized utilities. You will analyze user needs, design software, and collaborate with customers to implement solutions that improve operational efficiency.

Requirements include a BS in computing and at least 2 years of programming experience, with proficiency in C/C++ and preferably Qt/QML/Widgets, FFmpeg, and UAS experience.

Qualifications

BS in computing or related field with at least 2 years of programming experience.
Proficiency with C/C++.
Experience with Qt framework, QML, and Widgets preferred.
Experience with video encoding/decoding software (FFMPEG) preferred.
Experience with unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs.
Analyze user needs and develop software solutions.
Design software or customize software for customers use with aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
Collaborate with customers to resolve IT issues.
Coordinate software or hardware installation.
Analyze project data to determine specifications or requirements.
Provide recommendations about computer hardware and software.
Provide technical support for software maintenance or use.
