Job summary

Trillium Engineering in Hood River, OR seeks a Software Engineer to develop, modify, and optimize general computer applications software or specialized utilities.

The role requires a BS in computing and at least 2 years of programming experience with C/C++, Qt framework, QML, and Widgets. Preference given to those with FFmpeg video encoding/decoding and unmanned aircraft systems experience. On-site work with collaborative IT projects.

Qualifications

• A BS in computing (Computer Science, Computer Engineering etc.) and at least 2 years programming experience.
• Proficiency with C/C++.
• Experience with the Qt framework, QML, and Widgets, preferred.
• Experience with video encoding/decoding software (FFMPEG), preferred.
• Experience with unmanned aircraft systems, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Modify software programs to improve performance.
• Monitor computer system performance to ensure proper operation.
