Job summary

Onward Search is seeking a Content Producer/Motion Designer for a 12-month contract in Santa Monica, CA. The role involves turning product-launch ideas into short-form video by shooting, animating UI in Figma, editing, and delivering platform-ready content.

Onsite 3–4 days a week. You will develop concepts, direct shoots, edit to tight timelines, and tailor motion assets for multiple formats, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in video editing, motion design, content creation, or creative production, with work that has performed well on social.
• Expert proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve or equivalent tools, along with working fluency in Figma.
• A reel demonstrating strong animation craft, color, sound, and typography skills.
• Strong storytelling and comedic instincts, with comfort appearing on camera and working at events.
• Ability to deliver high-quality work on same-day and next-day timelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop culturally relevant creative concepts for product launches.
• Produce and direct content from filming through talent direction and on-camera appearances.
• Edit and finish polished short-form video on rapid timelines.
• Animate product UI from Figma and adapt assets for different formats and platforms.
• Build reusable motion templates while capturing event content and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
